Few suggestions for PS#1
Maps:
Ok well, to put it plainly I don't like the "Unreal Tornument" map on there at the moment, the CTF one. This is because it pretty much is 30 minutes (or however long it is) of sniping.
I think this gets incredibly tedious and boring for all other classes, because there are loads of great sniping spots, but nothing good for anyone else.
I also agree with the point in the other post about the rifle grenade damage, and as I was creating a new post I thought i'd put it here.
Secondly, the server lag.
It may be the host, but to be honest I think the player limit is too high, because with 20-30 players it is quite good, you can play without majorly being affected by lag, but when it gets to 40 players +, it makes the server almost unplayable, the lag is incredible, and to make matters worse, the amount of players means continuous airstrikes, mortars everywhere, and heavy weapons all over the place. I dont have a problem with heavy weapons really, just with explosions everywhere and lag you die very quickly or cant move.
Well, anyway, basically I think you should lower the maximum player limit, to maybe 38? I know many people won't like this suggestin, but its a suggestion and it would be good to discuss!

well about maps - this map is hmm... 2-3 week in campaign and players usually like it , but yes with many ppl its hard to get objective.
about rifles etc.- we discuss it in other topic so it should be clear now
about lags - it's not a server lags , I give u example: 40 players on millenium or baserace map = lag and sometimes mega lags , meanwhile 40 players on darji , hotchkiss , paris bastille and many other maps and ther are non lags , so it's not so big fault of server.

what you said kica if it are the maps that lag, don't upload the maps to ps1
problem fixt. or what mr_unknow said to get a people limit on laggy maps
otherwise i think the only solution that will be open is to lower the slots
or is there a other thing that can prevent a lag because i have it a lot the last time at ps1

Ehm.. No, isnt my pc. I think the server is just overloaded with CPU usage. Today PS1 also lagged with only 25 players playing. Well guys i don't lag so much maybe its because u have bad computer Only 1 map is were I lag, it's Baserace.
About CTF map, the map will continu to run, some like it and some others hate, it's alwayz same story and with any other maps so you can give your opinion and i respect it but we wont change maps in a very first request and each time a player like/hate a map. If we realy notice that a huge amount of players dislike a specific map we will surly take a look and maybe do some changes but at the moment it s not the case.
About Heavy weapons and rifles we explained our point of views in many occasions and i think that it s now accpeted by the majority of our players so no discussion about at the moment.
And finaly about lags, it can come from the host as few weeks ago and some maps are also known as "lagy" ones. A totaly lagless server is a kind of utopia, it will alwayz be some lagz when the server is full and with some specific maps, specialy when all don t have same connection, some good and some pretty lows one. I m personaly against reducing slots, PS1 become beein popular again and i don t like the idea to give less place to all our regulars. So what you prefer, handle some time 2 time lagz or have a server in witch you will rarly find a free place?? personaly my choice is clear. Anyway, i will try to fix it with Landser and hope give you a server with less lagz or maybe try to change some maps with serious lagz.

I just had a look on SL, and saw that 4 servers were running on the same root, PS#1 PS#7 and 2 others...a 32 slot (God Warriors) and another 16 slot (Elite War)
Maybe this causes the lag? I know only Landser can do anything about it (he is the host right?)

I think lag's problem is being so important, but as bowdownd siad, is impossible not to have it. For the maps, I don't like so much it, but I think that other ppl could love it. It's a map in a campaign, I think it isn't a problem
This is only my opinion in this subject so dont flame me I don't like Unreal Tournametn CTF map, i rather like Objective kind map and CTF is realy aanoying in ET this type of maps belongs to Quake etc where fraging counts.
Now about slots, in my opinion there should be less players on server, because there is to many SMALL MAPS, sometimes it's not a game at all it's a Massacre.

I think i said it before, in the campaign have to be more maps allot of big maps they should be played when there are a lot of players 30+, otherwise they get skipped automatically. And a few of little maps which can be played when there are 20- players, otherwise they get skipped to. At the end there will be normal maps which each time can be played and big or small maps.
then you have allot of different maps in the campaign, you shall get the same number of maps in the campaign as you have now and people who play shall play spreaded over the day because they can play other maps then.

especially not since you know even less from programming then me xD
IMO the serverslots are just fine, nearly always room to play, and if you don't like a map / laggy server, you can leave right to an other server... right... ?
That would be good for both, the server has a new spot free / less server usage + you have no lag anymore
