PS#1 Download maps

Hi RiCkY here

when i try to log in to PS#1 it close ET off and send me to this site:

http://www.prime-squadron.com/final/noquarter/

there are a lot of things to download but i dont know where to set them so i can join PS#1

i just tried it again and i can join PS#1 i think it was the Map that was running at that time

if anyone can help thx in advance

when u start et and goes to main menu open console and type in it :
/cg_allowdownload 1
or
/cl_allowdownload 1

dont remember which is correct

This should help u cuz probably you have disable autodownload option

Hi Kica thx for the tip but its not working i think when i do /cg_allowdownload 1 in console it says ''unknow command!

Thought is was /cg_allowdownloads 1, but dont think thats the problem here.

Probably a map or file missing in the dl space.

its /cl_allowdownload 1 (kica gave it in priv message)

Yeay i miss a files of maps.

The Transmitter map i can join and a new PS#1 map CastleAttack i can't join

i see tonight if Sebbel is done checking his things on server

So now, only this castleattack cause you problems or you still can t connect with other maps? The new maps are runin since yesterday and all worked without any problems. Anyway , did yu tried to manualy dl missing files?

here you have all new files added this last days :

New spree's sounds (ps5_spreesounds.pk3) and 4 news maps : berserk (berserk_te.pk3), castleattack (castleattack_b5.pk3), sands of time (sot_b2.pk3) and UJE (UJE_00.pk3). Try to check and download this files if ever one of them are missing. For maps place them in your Etmain folder in ET directory and place the spreesounds pack in NQ folder.

At this moment only the new maps of PS#1 are giving me problems not the maps that were already on the server

Ja , i was in the server and only last new maps cause problems, players dc by the message "acking disconnected download mode". I checked all and noticed any problems and all was runin well yersterday so i still din t find the problem ...

yeay i dont know either but usaly (dunno) the download of the maps goes when you log in

i have a castleattack file of 0 KB XD

it does not finish the download

it starts and the it stops

ahh well youre restarting the server and after that must go better

landser switched downloadspace from ps1(213.239.219.249) root to ps5 (88.198.62.41)root...
so it could be
a) he did not change ip in server.cfg.. bow maybe u can check. i cant because im at work or
b) those maps are not on ps5 root or wrong versions and because of that ppl cant download.... bow maybe u can also check

Ok , i will fix it and tell to landser to send us PM next time he change somethin. But i don t have acess to PS5 root .

castle attack still does not work

the rest of the map at this moment are working.

i dont know if the sett correctly because i lag on PS#1...... never lagged there 0.0

nono.. lands switched it before..

last few weeks we had the 213.239.219.249 root as DL - space for PS1 and PS5

now he switched it that PS1 and PS5 download stuff from 88.198.62.41 (PS2, 4, 5-root)
and i think its possible that some maps who we only loaded in final folder of 213.239.219.249 are not yet in 88.198.... final .. OR he forgot to give ip in server.cfg back to 88.198- root..

The IP in server.cfg is correct then (as i know the ip was alwayz the same , it s also same in old backup of PS1 server.cfg ...) , i will check for maps ...

Well for me all maps are already in the 88.198... root and i also checked it with souly and we have same , so i don t know where is the problem .

I also removed maps in my etmain folder and connected to PS1, all works fine and i dl all news maps without problems ...

fixed now ... the problem was: the server used the fallbackurl (which was setted to nq folder => he tried to download the map from ps.com/final/noquarter/etmain instead of ps.com/final/etmain) instead of using the default wwwdownloadurl

now everything is fixed, enjoy the game and thanks for reporting this problem
