I already tried to help him via xfire...
We updated his punkbuster..tried different server..found out that pb is working fine by trying to join a server and saving the console-code via the condump-comand.
We used this program.
Nothing worked.
Maybe sb else has an idea..

Woraround : Press "Esc" and try to reconnect.
I thought that one was fixed with 2.60b, not exactly sure.
@ PimxD
Try to run a traceroute to PS2;
- Code: Select all
Start > Run/Execute (dutch: uitvoeren) > Type 'cmd' > Type 'tracert 88.198.62.41'
And copy-paste the output here.
If your connection is okay we'll have to look elsewhere

this is a dutch explanation, and has nothing to do with any other players, subjects, granny's, dogs or whatever

Hope I see you again xD
Its probably easier to just use go to the defrag windows util
You'll be able to see all the volumes installed and choose the one which contains ET (prob only 1 anyway..)
2 ways: Start-->Run-->dfrg.msc
Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->Disk Defragmenter
First, imo is faster
Cheers
