Again PB problem ;(

blehhh...
when i start et and try to connect ps1 ET wants me to enable punkbuster. When i click [enable] it is the same. nothing happens. PB is not enabled. it seems like i have not got pb ;( but in my et dir is folder "pb" contain pb files. I dont know what to do.

Go play online
you see if it says "enable punkbuster" it means your punkbuster is DISABLED! you should enable it ...if its enabled it says "disable punkbuster"
reboot ET (quit and open again)
if you see it stays "enable punkbuster" click it again
go and play

Well re-installing your ET installation is always the last option

Have you tried this;

- start ET (just the normal way)
- in the main menu pull down the console
- enter: /pb_ver

does it say Enabled?

if not:
- in console enter: /pb_cl_enable

Did you also tried updating pb manually?

I tried everything...
- when i type "/pb_ver" or "/pb_cl_enable" or all of PB commands nothing happens. No error. Nothing. just new line [like [ENTER]].
- I tried to reinstall. eee... the same.
- I tried to upadte manually and aut. The same.

Reinstall didnt work too... it weird.

Have you tried to update it manually?

Go to your ET folder.

1. Go into the PB folder

2. Double click on pbweb. It will open a cmd where it will update PB.

3. Let it update and then press any key to close.

Omg that is so creepy...

How about you move pbweb.exe out of your PB folder... Then delete the PB folder and update again...

If that doesn't work either :S i dunno what to do else than reinstall.

punkbuster is sometimes weird, maybe try the manual punkbuster update moretimes, i have heard that it works for some ppl when they updatet it more times manual (doublekick pbweb.exe and let dos programm who starts for update run). i dunno, maybe the other ppl got other problems with it, but i hope it works for u too. but anyway it's weird cuz u said, u allready reinstalled ur ET
