Laggy and SLOW download

Hi!!!!

What have happend too the server latley?

I now allways lagg hen i play.
I download new maps at max 10kb / sec.
Offten when i download new maps i ET shuts dont and this page appears. (se link)

well if this window appear it means u are missing some files. try to set in ur console /cl_allowdownload 1
before u connect to the server. else get the missed files (error message should pup up and name missed files) manually from the internet site which shows up after u got disconnected.

about the lag, like saukko supposed, we would need some more informations at all to give u a little help.

I havent change anything.

I got a 100mbit / sec connection.

E6550 cpu 8800gt and 2gig ram.

This is one of the reasons I haven't played for a while .
Using my old ETKEY and config.

And it throws me on the website to download missing items, which I've done like umm... 7 times or so...

Reinstalling ET atm.

Are you sure you selected the correct network settings (options > system > networking > lan/cable/xdsn)?
Do you have the same problem at our other servers or non PS servers?

Now have i reinstalled Xp.

Reinstalled ET

Tried /cl_wwwDownload 1

And done the tweaks for firefox (Thx Oxygen)

Ammz: its on all PS servers.

Andi forgott too save my ET key too =P

the speed:

download a file from free-gameserver.com/final and one from prime-squadron.com/final ... how fast do you download these files with your browser (firefox) ?

the game quitting:

before it quits the game and opens the page: what is it attempting to download ?

does it happen on every PS server? whats the downloadspeed if you connect to an other server where the ingame download works?

I dont have problems with downlonding because i get like 500-600kbs,but laaaaags in latest time are getting worse and worse!!! And it all started like a two weeks before!!
