Mac 2.60d but ETPro needs 2.60b?*

Postby Siamat » Thu Feb 05, 2009 23:45

Yesterday i tried to connect to the PS#7 and i got back at the main menu that claimed i needed 2.60b and not 2.60d

The strange thing is i can connect to every server with 2.60d without problem. Only PS#7 gives me this problem.

tbh i never heard of a 2.60d, there is only a 2.60 and a 2.60b, second one is needed to join PS #7 so be sure u updated it rightly.

There is a 2.60d patch for the MacOS users.
MacOS 2.60d -> http://www.wolfmap.de/comments.php?news_id=698

If you use MacOS it maybe will help to use the 2.60b patch. I'm not sure it will help, it's just a guess.

Thanks for the reply :)
I indeed use Mac OS Tiger (10.4.9) and i got patch 2.60d. I dont want to reinstall entire Enemy Territory because i wanna learn Trickjump :) I guess it is 2 bad for me than.

Also i want to now if there is anything i can do about PS#3. When i try to connect to PS#3 it stays at 'Awaiting Gamestate 0' and the number keeps rising to over 20+. It wont let me connect. Any solutions?

check ip?

/connect 213.239.219.249:27962

EDIT:

too lazy to make new post... i guess all our connectors are bit out of date, even servers with !servers command are out of date, so dont trust them :D

PS7 Discussion > ET Help Desk
Changed your topic title into something a little more explaining.

According to several sources ETPro 3.2.6 doesn't work (well) with ET 2.60d for Mac.

Unfortunately 2.60b for Mac doesn't work well with NQ, so what you can do is create 2 ET installations; one with 2.60d (for NQ) and one with 2.60b (for ETPro).

I installed it twice. Now i have 2 folder in /Application one called "Wolfenstein ET" and one "Wolfenstein ET Pro".
They use both the file stored in /Users/My_User/Library/Applicatio_Support/Wolfenstein ET/ where are saved folder etpro and noquarter.
There is another way to do this: once patched the app you can save 2 App (one patched 2.60b and one 2.60d) in the same folder /Application/Wolfenstein ET and rename it every time you want to switch to noquarter or etpro.
