ammo/med packs in spawn
yey lol in radar summer
i respawned saw an allied in my spawn which took some ammo..
ofc u know what i did i shot him..
after that i got shooted back..he spawnkilled me
dunno rules are not spawnpassing nd there is nothing about if there is ammo that ure allowed to pass it than sorry but that should be disallowed
but imo if someone spawnpass nd he wont shoot me even i shot him its not really a big thing but if he shoot back..spawnkilling..or shootin in spawn
allowing spawnpassing could be a nice idea too in other server that doesnt cause any problems
-L|L-Flash (was just my opinion about that)
EDIT: about that post before..
spawnpassing could be allowed if
when someone go into spawn nd if he get shooted from players in spawn he is not allowed to shoot back if he do its spawnkilling
than they wont say anymore i only wanted to take ammo or sth like that

warren-the-ape wrote:Loll optional spawn? If you want to call a fixed spawnpoint an optional spawn be my guest, but the same rules apply to this spawn as any other non-capturable spawn (see Ziel's post).
The problem with most 'spawnpassers' (80/90%) is that they're actually spawnkillers since they fire and throw nades as soon as they enter it. This is not a fast sneaky pass (nothing wrong with that) but ordinary spawnkilling with spawnpassing used as a poor excuse
I see a difference between fixed spawn, where games moves you, and fixed spawn you have to choose to spawn there.
Ziel said what I thought about it, not about the second part, I wrote it bad:
Lets stick to Goldrush example - if I went from 2. truck barrier, passed the spawn, and when I'm behind spawn (correct me if I'm wrong, but I suppose all that big area is spawn - so behind spawn = in the street), some spawned allies starts shooting at me. Whats the situation now? Am I supposed to run/get killed, because they stay in spawn, or am I allowed to fight back, as they're shooting from the spawn, not willing to move?

That is the one thing I dislike alot on PS servers.... For example mortars and cvops who are inside spawn shooting towards enemy (spawncamping) they get warned.. obviously....
But if I run close to enemy spawn, enemies always starts to shoot from spawn and try to kill me, sometimes i wont move and i just take demo for them breaking rules - spawncamping - shooting from spawn. Havent seen them getting a warn... not even once.
The rules I have greatest respects are spawnkilling/spawncamping. That is why I dont shoot back - that is why I get killed. I get killed for obeying rules (which I agree) but I also get killed for others not obeying rules (which I dont agree) - yet they dont get warned nor kicked.
Starting to be little bit off topic imo.

you know what you are taking for a risk when you pass spawns like this (allies first spawn) and we are simply a bit more tolerate to a spawncamp in such a case then to a spawnkill.
Cry and you will cry alone, but laugh and the whole world will laugh with you!!!

If you were speaking to me I meant if I go close to spawn, some place where I can see into the enemy spawn, never said: If i spawnpass....
So my point is that SCers should be punished more often

Avoid to go close to enemy spawn and there won't be any SC... Do you know that "Deliberately hanging around (also known as Camping) Enemy spawn and/or your own spawn is NOT allowed and is considered Spawncamping (SC)" (as holy Rulebook says). SO if you wait for enemies outside their spawn or close (like you said), you're also a kind of rulebreaker and furthermore you provoke SC too... Avoid this kind of situations and there will less problems for everybody
Whats about Rabenhorst; allies 2nd spawn (when the tank reaches the gate and axis can no longer capture the flag.
The door infront of the spawn is the only way axis can get in there for the command post. (the other door is only allie or cov in suit)
To avoid anyone screaming spawnkill I hide and wait for them to spawn but the tower totaly over looks the spawn (suppose thats where allies get shot from at the start too)
Would shooting down at the farmers, snipers and mortar be spawn camping? It isnt shooting directly into spawn because of the roof, but it is pretty close.
It's so tempting to poison the field ops who is farming the flag with his back turned, but it is just as satisfying to sneek past so close without him knowning

Agree 100 % ...the spawn is the security place, 1st spawn, 2nd spawn, not capturable spawn...any spawn not capturable (like 1st allies spawn in golrush) ..like Zielo says:
"for this optinal spawn for example in goldrush you can pass them (axis). its a needed way to run away or to get into allies back.
but be aware that when you wait there to kill the fresh respawned allies its a clear sk and the punishment will follow."
So, in this case you can only pass, nothing more, no camp (or deliberately hanging around), no shot, because is sk, sc, thats all. no need more explanations.
Peace.

Killing the enemy in his own Spawn (the players' starting locations) is NOT allowed and is considered Spawnkilling (SK), this includes; walking into enemy spawn, shooting into enemy spawn from a distance.
This rule applies to ALL weapons!
Spawnkilling is a serious offence and will most likely result in a warn (!warn, !burn, !gib) possibly followed by a kick, temporary ban or permanent ban (depending on the situation).
Deliberately hanging around (also known as Camping) Enemy spawn and/or your own spawn is NOT allowed and is considered Spawncamping (SC). SC will result in a warn (!warn, !slap, !burn, !fling, !throw, !gib) depending on the situation.
SK & SC with heavy weapons (mortar, panzer, flamer, airstrikes, artillery etc.) is FORBIDDEN!
Exceptions
The SK rule does not apply to capturable spawns, such as flags or commandposts. As long as you are trying to (re)capture the spawn ONLY light weapons (SMG, knife, handgun, grenades etc.) are allowed!
Note
Sniping and shooting (for example; Rifle Nades) into a capturable spawn from a distance is considered SK or even SC, since you are not trying to (re)capture the spawn yourself (i.e. not moving forward)!

Completly agree with Viduus. But i still wonder, what to to with a person who takes objective, runs to his own spawn, so he keeps hiding in the spawn, which will attrack sk-ers for sure.

But still, after you gib the guy. The obj is still in the spawn, so he or a teammate can take it again
Yep i know a nasty subject.

I maybe wrong but I dont see any admin saying in this topic spawnpass is allowed?
yeah viduus, zielobjekt wrote:

So, in this case i think is allowed no? talking about pass.
If Ziels says that for example you can pass first spawn at Goldrush that does not mean you can spawnpass everywhere.
And if you can use spawnpass tactically it is stil not legal.
For me this discussion is closed now. If you still dont know or dont want to understand spawnpass is not allowed, I guess you have to learn it at the servers.

well, as spawnpass is needed tactically, i have always gone by this guidline: when spawnpassing, never do sk. if player kills spawnpasser in spawn, then its not sc and no one is guilty. so only risk is that u get killed in spawn, same way as in non-spawn area. very easy to understand and no misunderstandings. and spawnpassing is prevented by getting killed very easily, so most ppl wont even do it coz of that.
In my opinion spawn-passing should be forbidden in PS#1, because this server is to large for allowed spawn-passing when playing 20/20 players.
For example in map goldrush when allies do spawn-passing usually they do SK. In my opinion in this map spawn-passing isn't really need to do objective like in majority map in PS#1. How are you to present spawn-passing in game with 20/20 players?
But i agree with Ziel, when you spawn-passing "old" spawn. In goldrush allies have 2 spawns for choose (of course when they move tank ^^). In this case spawn-passing axis on first spawn allies is allowed... of course if they don't stay near spawn and kill respawned players ^^
Conclusion: Spawn-passing depends of situation, map, how much players play, individual preference and honesty (i mean SK).

Maybe with something like this in the rulebook must be clear for all?? Peace.

This is an interesting way to see it and in theory it might work, but it is still forbidden and it's simply because you can't controll others actions ie:
You pass spawn, others teams spawns and somebody with panza/flame accidentaly (by pure reaction) click on shoot or simply forget to switch weapons. What happens? one spawn wiped out...
Even if everybody has light weapon there probobly will be alot of team bleed because your in the middle of the spawn!
So it's simple, passing through active spawns (and in most other cases; even old/optional spawns) causes more troubles for anybody to safely handle!
Conclusion: Do not pass a spawn! It is forbidden for a good reason! If you still pass a spawn, prepare yourself for the consequences!

yesterday too much players axis passing in goldrush allies 1st spawn, and like invincible say, then KILL allies, always they pass with intention of kill ......really, i cant understand why isnt in the rulebook, the player continue spawn passing and killing the enemys....maybe is time to put something about spawn passing in the rulebook??? Put the words Spawn passing (SP) and the player will think 2 times before pass again.
Peace
