punk buster keeps kicking me

Hey all, nice site you have, heres my sitsuation, usally on ps2 and ps5 punk buster kicks me, says losing key packs etc, how can i fix this and how, any help would be great, i love playing on your servers

have you had this problem for a long time?
or did it just came lately? when?
have you installed some programs lately that could cause problems?
have you checked that your firewall/antivirus dont block some of ET processes? (et.exe, punkbusterA.exe, punkbusterB.exe, or something like that)
what kind of connection you use?
and how about you ET settings like rate, maxpackets and so are?

if you could answer these, maybe it would tell something to our computer pro's

to see rate+maxpackets type /players to console and find your name, after name you should see them. or type /rate to see rate and /cl_maxpackets to see maxpackets

this problem just started latly
i installed no programs
firewall is ok
high speed cable
how do i check maxpackets and et rate?

hit the tidal button to the left of the 1 key thats above the tab key and do wat ninjadeer said at the bottem (after the red letter edit) type the /command to see the rate and max packets if they are low (rate should be 25000 and packets eather 60 or 100) just do these commands

/seta rate 25000
/seta cl_maxpackets 100
mines set at 60 coz its my fps limit and monitor refresh rate

but 100 will do fine

i dont see any reason why u should have maxpacets 60.

wats the point updatin frames more than wat ur monitor refresh rate is? its a waste of data also i seem to get smoother gameplay with 60

rule of thumb max fps and packets at ur monitor refresh rate is the best thing to do got that from a pro clan match player (he was best in clan and the clan was near teh top) may change my max fps to 58 tho coz it keeps goin over by 2 fps >.<

First download the pbsetup for updating pb (if you dont already have it). Then update. Then join to server and see if it helps.
If problem doesnt solve, download this program, pbsvc. Its from evenbalance also, and it repairs all your pb files. First completely remove all pb services (program has this feature), then install them again using the same pbsvc program. And finally update it using pbsetup.

If you still get pb problems after this, its because your pc or connection. Your pb files are fine now.
Make sure you dont use F-Secure as antivir since it conficts with pb.
Also check from your firewall settings that it isnt blocking pb stuff, PnkbstrA and PnkbbstrB should be in allowed list. If you cant see one of them, first join to server and get kicked, then you will see them.
Hope this helps. And if this doesnt solve the problem, use Evenbalance support ticket. You will have to describe your problem to them, then they will contact you in a while (can take a week or so). They will ask you some questions and usually they can solve it.
