Hmm,

I have got a problem with ET. When I'm entering PS1, my ping immediately goes from zero to 999. I can't say things, I only see the map + the actions in console.

Additional info:
-No pc is downloading
-Only pc powered on atm
-Rate = 40000
-Maxpackets = 100
-Restarting the pc wont fix the problem

what about other servers? what about connect from other profile/etkey?

is this problem still? after some time?
are you sure you got right version of map and all other needed packs (to connect)??

what about running et without any cfgs?

I can play at non PB servers, or PS3. At PB servers I will be kicked because of wrong Windows API / Program & Drivers (Probably because I'm running Windows 7). Ping is normal there.

EDIT:
Ok, I reinstalled ET. That worked for about 15 minutes and then I suddenly had 999 ping. :evil:

When did this start?
If this occurred recently then do you think anything you might have changed/added to your system might have any influence?

Fixed: just removed everything what was ET related from my pc, reinstalled ET and it worked

Have you tried running ET.exe in Windows Server 2003 compatibility mode? This fixed the same problem for someone running Vista some time ago.
