Need help once again...

I get this the entire freakin time. I searched it on google and they say i need to reinstall. I reinstalled it 50,000 times and i tried to update PB around 100 times with the PB setup..

Also i tried deleting the entire second Wolfenstein folder (the one that contains etkey, maps etc.)
Please someone help me out.

dunno what google ur using xD, but i sure got some answers from first page:

A new server version of PB for ET was released yesterday. This new version is currently causing chaos on every server where PB is up to date.

The problem is with the server side version of PB so re-installing/updating your client PB won't help at all unfortunately.

Hopefully Evenbalance will address the issue asap.

Your problem It's from old punkbuster's version.
So, you read the post from Warren:
http://www.prime-squadron.com/modules.p ... cle&sid=51

You go on your PB directory:
C:\Programsi\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\pb
and start pb.exe. After will run this cmd window:



so, you wait few minutes and after all will be ok

Try to update manually;

PunkBuster (ET) Player Client Files
The following files are only needed if your PunkBuster doesn't update by itself. Right click the appropriate links below and choose "save as" to your "pb\htm" folder - make sure the file you save is saved with the filename shown below. Players only need the files that correspond to their Operating System, Server Admins need all six files.

• PB Client v2.190 for Mac Filename: mc002190.htm
• PB ClientA v1382 for Mac Filename: ma001382.htm

If that doesn't help, try PBSetup

Hi I have this same problem on Linux, althou I have newest version of PB (or at least same that other people have and who can play on PB enabled servers)

Anything else than updating PB? And poring stays out with his "use windows"-talk >_>

edit: ok pbsetup worked just fine.

dont forget u need to run pbweb also as administrators for ppl who use vista
bout mac i rly dont have a clue but mac suck anywayz:P
