This happens since the Update to the new NoQuarter-version.

I have updated to the newest PunkBuster: /pb_ver = (v2.190 |Â A0)

I have the newest Mac version of the Game (2.60b4)

I am behind a Router but I play alone in the network (ET is not running on other machines).

It seems that it works when original maps are running but not with custom mps!?

EDIT: if I click on "reconnect" after that error comes up, it reconnects me but then I get kicked with "Invalid PK3-files"-error

ur edit about reconnect and this invalid pk3 stuff is well known and happens since i play this game everytime u were kicked by pb or disconnected by unknown reason.. this means only u have to restart ET

to the pb update i can only tell my experience:
when i updated pb by pbsetup, i got still kicked by pb for same reason like you...
only when i ran pbweb.exe in pb folder to update pb (when the little dos-screen comes up to donload the single files) it worked fine for me..

I am running the Mac version not the windwos one. What PB version do u have now? Can u enter the command /pb_ver in the ingame-console?

I get this kick too and .pk3 invalid.
I just shut down ET and connect again with HLSW. Takes 10 seconds

But this update only brought trouble with it

but I can live with spending 10 seconds on connecting
