To high ping

Hi.
I'm not sure, is it a good place for my question, but maybe someone will be able to help

By last week, mebe longer i have trouble with ping on all PS servers - is to high(~140ms) after 24.00 back to norm (<40ms) but there are no players so late...
In my country and on oder western countries servers: France, GB, some oder German servers, my ping is in norm.
Someone with my location- Poland(Warsaw) has similar problems?
What is the location of PS servers? Maybe my ISP will be able locate the cause of trouble.

wheheheh not u first have problem with "high" ping

btw if u have program HSLW try open tracer ..... problem with connect : france-frankfurt (i have 210-280 ms )

always after 24:00 ping back to "normal" .....

cuz i think must be patient ..meybe somdays this problem fixed

Phobos has that same problem too for last ten days!i told to open topic here but he says he is bed in english so i will try to see in his name if i can help! his pings are like 200!he says he doesnt download anything and i m shure that before he had normal pings ourund 50!Few other guys too i see have the same probles in last days,i feel sorry for them,so exept falbik anybody else if can help they would be real happy!thx

Are all those guys with the same provider? If so, I think the best way for them is to team up and contact their ISP together. And otherwise let them write an e-mail every day, until they get a response

And is this cable we're talking about or *DSL? Cause traffic being squeezed of during the day and getting back to normal in the night sounds a lot like a cable provider without enough bandwidth for her users.

It seems that most problems come from Polish players with a connection at Neostrada.

There's your problem. If you Google that IP you'll find a lot of topics similar to this one. That hub seems to be overloaded, causing high pings for a lot of users.

You could compare it to a highway connecting your home to our servers. In this case there seems to be a traffic jam around Frankfurt, 2 lanes closed 1 lane open, so you won't be home for dinner

And we are back to topic. They improved our connection from 170ms to 250ms. Now we are going from Poland to Hetzner (Germany) through New York -> Washington -> Frankfurt am Main by opentransit...
