Deliberately circumventing the auto censor is not the way to go and asking for trouble..

If the auto censor is too strict in your opinion, in the case of 'nab' f.e. you can always contact the server owner or open a topic about it.

I never understood all the 'noob', 'naab' and 'f#ck' in chat in the 1st place but that's a different story

first we need to know which words gets us muted, then we'll see which words needs to be enabled. thats why i made this topic to solve it.

i've used neeb/fuuk and i havn't got any bad response from those words, coz most ppl dont know them or they dont care. actually i havn't seen anyone getting bad response from using bad words as long as they aren't pointed to someone directly.

so if owner add new words like "neeb" "fuuk" ...alway players used news ... "fck","n@@b","n()()b" ...and i think word's be more and more ... and admins never stopped addiding new :roll:

so we have members/admins/HA's by used biutiful cmd !mute :wink:

Imo more than just for a word we cenzoring the meaning and specific context.
And agree with Falbik, at begining it was only "noob", now we have nab, neeb etc.
We disallow words which can be understandable as insultive by others.

if i say: "ur a rotten horse genital", will u disable those words or will u mute me. ofc u will mute me. but if i just say: "rotten horse genital" in main chat, then thats not offensive and no one will mute me, coz they wont pay much attention into it, unless some admin is a horse

for me ..its simply if we speak and used words : nabzor, u bastart or like u say "ur a rotten horse genital" and both think its funny or laught with conversation ...no need muted ...

but if u or second playa told/speak or call with others person (used "Unsuitable" words) and his/she told "stop insult me " probably i muted or warned by stopped bad conversation

and isnt boobs/boob/b00b offensive towards women (being perv..)? u know there r lots of words which have different effects on different ppl, but u cant disable them all obv. so u only have to disable those essential words which cause most troubles. i personally dont see any trouble in nab/noob etc, only if someone is using it in bad way, and for that u can mute him manually.

anyway if its not too much to ask icefrost can you please post the words so ppl wont break the rules in future?

What s your main goal with this topic? if it s to have a better acknoweldge about rules and your limits , then it s ok but if some want to turn all this to jokes and test admins and members patience in the server, well they can alwayz wait for an answer :wink:

. Once again i would use some forbidden words and sentences and even worst with friends on private but surly not in a public place. Do you talk like this in a classromm when a teacher is around ? surly not and it s pretty same in a public server. We have nothing against the fun and it s for far the final goal of this community, but if we want see it works without any problems we need some limits and rules , having a correct language is one of those. We can discuss about some points of this rule but it wont be any about the rule itself, it s a part of PS policy since the begining and it wont change. Since you keep all this clean and we feel any bad attention and confusing behaviour or talks, you risk any reaction from admins but all this depend on the situation :wink:

oje, well.. it's they grey zone, which allways will be they grey zone. i don't feel like posting a lot of insulting words in a public forum. also i just wouldn't use such words in different ways to avoid muting like warren said allready. so i don't see the sense at all to post these words here. just don't use bad words, or motifications of bad words at all. if noob, naab, neeb or whatever, it allways would be some kind of insult. of c it depents to who u saying it, but there are other words as well u can use, like penis or whateva, which sounds at least more friendly to me :wink:

Im using words as *beep*/cancer(its a common Dutch insult word) in public places, so your argument is invalid.
