Etkey-->etmain lost

I lost my etkey/ xp points and my lvl .

So what can i do?

you can ask an admin in game =] he should give your lvl back but always remember to make a backup file

However, your XP are definitively gone.

One good solution is to put your etkey in your email box (for example), so you can access it at anytime, anywhere in the world

One handy way is also put a copy of it in a memorystick.

High admins can give you your level(s) back, but they usually want a proof what level you had. If you cant find anything/anyone, you can always ask serverowner to look it up.

I got a question, if you send the etkey to your own mailbox, is it updated? I mean if I got +1 lvl, does that change also takes on the key in the mailbox?

etkey includes only your guid, which is way for server to identify you, all your levels and xp is saved on server and guid is the way to acces them. so levels will be updated also for that one in mailbox

btw, do not copy your etkey from friend please, causes only unwanted situations and misunderstoods. /pb_cdkeyreg into console when you start up et and it should create you new guid if there is no etkey in etmain

As said above your XP is an old story but i can give you back your lost level, just PM me your exact nickname (the one you was using) and also the level you was.

I may add sthn useful:
If you switch system to Windows Vista / Windows 7 keep in mind the etkey gets a new position. Somewhere in Users/Appdata/punkbuster blabla.

Esiest way to find and replace: Run ET in the new system, let it make a new etkey and then search the partition C:\ for "etkey". If you find it, replace it with your backupped one.
