How to make RTCW sounds work?

I have this sounds:

And, when i put it to etmain folder, it doesn't work. I like play with rtcw sounds, cuz its better, but when its don't work... I know for some servers the file must be on serverside, RTCW sounds was on PS#2 1-2months ago, but its not now here, thats why i need help.

Did it ever work with the no quarter mod?
Or are you playing with no sounds for the entire time at ps2?

try to put that file in you no quarter folder (copy from etmain to no quarter)
see if it works.

ehmm but there are only 3 sounds in it?

axis_win.wav
war.wav

no weapons or whatsoever

Are u sure that: noquarter_b1.0.2.pk3 , is in your no quarter directory.
That file contains the sounds for all the new weapons and objects in no quarter

Sry i do something wrong

i modify file and place wep sounds
Must i delete noquarter_b1.0.2.pk3? Cuz i'm not sure server don't upload it to me automatically .

how big is the file?
Should be something like 19.9mb

edit:
just temporary move it to another folder (my documents or something)
then reconnect and see if it downloads the file from the server
