Hello. I noticed the maxrate on PS#1 has been changed to 25000. This is not good for the server because of the high amout of players. It causes higher pings, more lags and some pretty awful chugging for its players. Im getting it pretty bad and get much better gameplay with a rate of 40000. I'd like to suggest changing it back to 40000 for the benefit of smother gameplay. Maybe you wont listen to just 1 person but i'm sure there will be more supporters.

this has got my vote, playing at ps1 is normally fun, but now its just constant lag please change it back... with the amount of players on this server, you need to have that boost and without, it just causes frustration with how much lag you get

It is forced to 25 000? Didn't know.. I have that value as original atm.. Will see when I'm on.

Agree anyway, less lag = better gameplay.

Dunno how you noticed it but PS1 maxrate was and still is 40000 and never changed .

I was playing yesterday and i was surprised to see my rate to 25000.
i did /rate 40000 in console,but it didn't work.
i did /players,and everybody was set to 25000 .

i asked smadd to see it and he was also surprised as me .

Yep, everyone was forced to 25000.

Bow could you check it again, and possibly change the value ?

Your rate can change when you connect from etpro to nq. Then just do /rate 40000 and restart et

I was not around yesterday, i checked the server settings when i came back home and saw this post, the maxrate is 40000 as it always was. Now, there is also other persons who have acces to PS1 server settings, dunno if one of them changed or tried something ... Seb? landser? Now about the utility of having a rate of 40000 or more, as i know there is any since ET game engine caps automaticaly all values above 25000, plus higher rate mean more need of server's bandwidth, in one word it s useless and have no real earnings for the player or the server. Now, even if it would be a right thing to force people to have a rate of 25000 (as many other servers do) , i ve alwayz let players the choice since it pschycologically help them .
