INTERNET problem, HELP!

Hello, I am since yesterday a BIG problem, the problem is that I dont have any internet .. My brother buy yesterday a wireless internet for my PC and its already repair in the PC or how to say that. If that's done then you need to do something on the PC, but we even dont know. My brother is smart with PC's but this is something what he dont know how to fix BTW yesterday we had one tip internet worked but when restart PC internet was again offline.
And our SO is XP.

Can you tell me some more about the connection. Do you have like 2 computers with wireless? Is your computer the "head" computer? Did you already called you provider?

Let's begin with the basics. Do you know what a router is? Do you know what drivers are? Do you know what WAP-PSK wireless key is?

Just answer to these questions.

And please tell me everything about your computer.

And can you tell me the name of the product for wireless you have bought? What does it say on the box for wireless?

Okay, so let me get this straight?
PC = Stationary computer, big one.
Your brother bought a wireless card that you must install in the computer, either by USB or by opening it up and plugging it manually.

After this you MUST install drivers which are located on the CD that come with the hardware or download from internet.
After that you should be able to locate your wireless internet by the computer.

However! If this "wireless" internet is like an USB 3G, you must do something else and definitely get some password and a SIM chip from the provider.

So, what is it?
