Hi, i'm palle....now i'm palledemo......uauauauau.......

I did a demo of Bethino.... I had not yet understood how a player with 300 ping can often killing spree,dominating.....When i have 100/120 ping i always see in slow motion....In this demo i often see that shoots far from enemy, but takes it anyway:

To watch this video download it and save it in the folder: Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory / noquarter /demos. Run et enemy and into the main console choose the mod no quarter. After loaded the mod go to replay and select this video.
To see what I'm saying, you ( those for who don't know ) need to lower the timescale in the menu (democontrols) of demo with keys kp_left "4" to lower the timescale or kp_left "6" to increase the key .. "5" is normal speed timescale = 1 (removing the bloc_num in keyboard to run). You see a fight in minutes indicated above the speed of the timescale of 0,2 / 0,3.

At minute 20 : 59 can see good that i say......This is impossible....he shoot in right side of screen without meet enemy and kill a poor k-light anyway.

i invite you to play in some south american server, you with 300 ping and me with 50, you will play normal anyway. because the high ping is for the distance, not for lag or bad connection (well my normal ping is 290, i have to admit with more than 320 im lag). Anyway, please stop acuse me of cheat coz thats not true. but i will take like a compliment

ehm...ping is important....is a measure of speed...if 2 players with one 50 and other 300 shoot in the same time who has a ping at 300 is dead before second shoot....Lag is another thing...."slow motion " is for explain that i don't see one shoot that i'm already dead.....

ET has some nifty thing called antilag. It makes you actually hit where you aim at though ofcourse with the delay based on how high the ping is.
It's still not perfect ofcourse since sometimes you get hit behind walls and hitregistration is very different, but if you get used to it it shouldn't be much of a problem to get to atleast 80% of your regular skill with decent ping.

Note: I haven't checked the demo or anything, just replying on the question why you can play good with such a high ping.

A ping of 300 is playable, but personally any higher then that and i notice it.
Thats like, over half a second delay? A spree should be no trouble.

Firstly i want 2 say that its really nice too see u playing Beti, for me the best player
So there are no doubts that he cheats or something, in the Demo he killed and die 2
For information Uauaua, Betinho is old here in prime squadron and he has the highest experience, so its normal if he plays better then any player!

So an answer for ur question.
a 50 ping player get the infos faster as a 300 png's player. I remember when i played on American servers. I give hs while i dont point to my enemy head like i get death over miles a corner. Yes the ping is the key. Beti can get better whit timenudge -50 but it couse lags for other player and this is why it is disallowed.

Ps:sorry for my bed english and if u dont understand i ll explain better for u.

ofcourse betihno isn't a cheater i saw the record too and it was just good work beti
he is noth a cheater so lock it up
and the ping is just of the distance between the server and himself

Beti can get better whit timenudge -50 but it couse lags for other player and this is why it is disallowed.

timenudge will show you negative ping cause issues like u say here above.
but the point is also we allow ppl with max 400-450 ping.
and some nolivers just use timenudge to hide their own real ms / ping they got.

but useally nothing change if u use nudge or not.

ONE suspicious situation is never enough to ask for an explanation or even to accuse..
it can be have been just luck.
if you see every 20 seconds such strange / lucky /suspicious action than its useful to ask here for explain

Ok...i see that is useless.....I'm not people....i'm Palle and I play on Et long time.....I saw Betinho when he started play here and i know how he played....This replies are based only on problem of ping and on Betinho admin without comment demo.....I see a video at minute 20:59 where he shoot in the wall ( see 2 bullets in timescale 0,2, that its go in the wall ) far to enemy and in same time he kill k-light. This is the situation...The ping high can't create this. Nobody in this post explain how it's possible...( reference to video ) then if exist another explanation i are here for read this.

Ape..... there are many examples of good old players that take ban for cheat.....

If Betinho has cheat or not for me is same....I play for fun....

i think if Beti started using cheats we'd notice because he'd get worse eventually, use cheats, and you dont learn *beep*, use the beti way and you will kick ass before the german can say periwinkle.
