NQ 1.2.7 - There is only 1 adre needle, and the satchel is a normal satchel again; not that medic pack one.
That's it for the moment.

in 1.2.5. there were more adre because it didn't let to change it to 1 stick, but before that we had only 1 stick and now its back to normal again.

I know this topic hasn't been touched for a while now, but it's a sticky, so...

Wouldn't it be a good idea to disable level 8 medic skill (improved poison) or even poison itself (level 7 light weapons skill)? Dropping weapons and being doomed to die (unless a medic heals you) after simply getting touched shortly by an enemy is not exactly the best experience. I've even had 45 poison kills in one map like that (I can prove it too), so I can tell it's a way too powerful way to kill the enemy.

I believe you know how that is set up on the cfg, but here's some info taken from the NQ wiki:

If you set a value of -1 for specific skill it'll be disabled. F.g. skill_Medic "20 50 90 140 200 270 350 -1 540" disables the extended poison skill and weapons are no longer dropped.

Just a little idea that I think would work anyway.

ye, i could disable the lvl 8 medic skill, or just change some setting so the players won't get forced to drop there weapons, if that would be fine with u guys as well?

Afaik when the weapons are dropped, you can still pick them up while poisoned.

In my opinion it's by far the worst kind of unbalance the NQ developers could add to the game. I'm not saying that people getting poisoned that way are 100% dead and have no chance of reacting, but it's really a big handicap to be poisoned and, at the same time, have no weapons but knife. Sure, you can pick them up again, but if the enemy is smart enough you'll be dead before you do.

I'll admit it was great fun (my message in the chat area proves it), even though I only did it once. Totally hilarious to get multi/ultra-kills by simply hitting +attack once on the enemies, running away and letting them die. But you can tell by the crazy accuracy and score it's not a very balanced way of playing. What do you think?

PS: any problems with this screenie being here, just feel free to remove it.

well i personally don't see it as such a huge problem as u mentioned it, of c u can poison people and get some kills, but i doubt u will be able to get 45 poison kills at PS 2 / on the current running maps. knife is even more effective tho (backstabbing), to get kills even more easy, as cov ops for example. i just think it's not a big problem to have poison setted, that u get forced to drop your weapons. moreover other medics from your team can also heal u with a needle and u got some time untill u die. np with posting that screen, but in my opinion it's just not a big problem in the end for PS 2 at least :wink:

not sure, probably possible but imo no need to change that, nades are allready strong enough and this way new players would might get even more annoyed :p

I think they won't notice it anyway. Since you get it at i thought battlesense 8, new players at ps2 don't have that :P

Maybe we could look at this point later, for now I can live with it :)

a suggestion:

if its possible then make mines per number of players

right now its 15 mines/team, doesnt matter how many ppl plays its 1-1 or 15-15 fight its always 15 mines

in 15-15 fight its ok (i guess)

but in 1-1 2-2 3-3 etc its way too much

so make mines similar to rifle: depending on number of players

what you think icy/sley/cross(?)/ps2 regulars (except goku ofc)

it's not possible to set the amount of mines reffered to the amound of players (neighter thats possible for rifle).

then maybe lower number of mines from 15 to 10?

since double jump is off on all maps mines become powerfull weapon, too powerfull

dunno, the most ppl decided to incrase the amount of mines from 10 to 15 (Amount of Mines?), so not sure if there's rly a change needed. also u can strafe-jump over several mines even without doublejump.

Remove the thingy that gives the HP off the enemy that just killed you. I have personally enough off whiners who complain about that they nearly won, since they know the exact hp from the one who killed them.

You'd prefer constant "HP??8??8??"'s? I prefer it stays as it is atm.

point1:
Requests for hp are less annoying as whining about the exact hp, since they have proof that they lost only for a small number off HP

point2:
I expect less requests for knowing HP than the amount off whiners about it at the moment.

Point3:
Hp is not a good indicator for winning losing a fight, there are many factors that play a role. Why only give HP when you die, is it actualy needed to show hp?

I have a request: can we have on PS#2 a "vote to nextmap" on warmup map?
may be useful when there are few ppls and members without high admin on server.
