tbh, I stole this cfg from someone I know, and I only changed binds, cg_fov and m_pitch. I don't even know what the rest means, it just looks cool, doesn't it :D

I changed my name a bit, colors changed, and I should erase the h bind because it is way too long... Anything that you still think I need to add?

hm, no, but remove some of the lines :D You can find out with google what most of the commands/settings do, and then you will see some are standart values of ET and some unneccesary for you as long as you dont host a game.

What's the point of the shooting cg_fov change?

Edit:

I think I know it:

When you don't attack, you can see more enemies with higher cg_fov, but when you attack, yuo focus on enemy? Is that correct?

That's also what I think that would happen to me.. I feel this is some sort of mouse accelerator, but then it's slowing your mouse down.

IceCreamy, does it help you?

I mean, every time you needle someone, and your fov changes, seems very strange for me..

Can be fixed with this:
remove last line:
bind MOUSE1 "+vstr shooton shootoff"

And change the weaponbank binds to what you want (for example: only weaponbank1,means knive+poison dont have this zoom-effect
bind 0 "weaponbank 0; bind MOUSE1 +vstr shooton shootoff"
bind 1 "weaponbank 1; bind MOUSE1 +attack"
bind 1 "weaponbank 1; bind MOUSE1 +vstr shooton shootoff"

which is why I dont like poison at all :D

But for me it works fine, I have certainly improved on long range shooting with MP40/Thommy. But for close range... I sux anyways, so I dont mind :)

That must be reason
1) pb kicks for a value that is forbidden
2) in nq all use pitch 0.

well, I play on pb protected server daily but never got kicked :)

pitch 0 is quite funny with 30 sens, but you cant hit a thing :P

0.011 is inside, not out, so its not allowed

Most of time you get a cvar backup in ur etpro folder & the cvar sets back to what it was.
