I'm really interested in making frag movies and so on and I really want to know which is the best possible recording program. Only program which I know is Fraps and I heard it's guite... bad. Anyway if anybody know any good recording program, tell me. I ask this becasue there is some games which doesn't have console where to put \record.

Fraps is indeed one of the best programme but the size of your video files is damn huge even if you take videos on half-size, more globaly Fraps make the max quality vids (bmp for video and wav for the sound) but the final file will be scary on size (3 mn = 3 Go or so ) . It all depend of the use of your movie, if it's for youtube etc ..., avoid the full-size and reduce the fps and also the resolution of your screen and finaly compress your file with softs like Virtualdub or mediacoder.

you can use xfire to make the files fraps and xfire make while recording smaller
xfencoder.exe allows you to make your .avi files into .mp4, greatly decreasing the size of the files

You can also try recording by xfire, but makes you lag as hell only
why it lags is it other than other progams or something?
does it take a lot of ram?
