Resolution problems

I installed Wolfenstein on my laptop. (windows 7)
So i wanted to play.. i started up the game. etc. etc.
When i joined the server the screen was very weird. It was very, very big.
So i changed the resolution to my resolution what I have normal.
Mine normall resolution is : 1440x900.
When i changed it, it was still weird. Not like it has to be.
So, do you know what i did wrong? Or what is wrong?

did you try /vid_restart ? Otherwise it should work ^^

Search for the win, by the way this is also fresh topic.... maybe check better next time :> ? I also have windows 7. First what I did I installed all latest drivers what I could find. Then I checked all updates and so on. I changed all things to my config what has changed from my last computer. Everything worked fine with me. Resolution is fine.

EDIT!!!: I installed my ET with ET Ultimate Installer so it work properly. http://www.rtcwmap.de/index.php?option= ... fo&id=1770

I used 1.4 version because I didn't know that there is 1.6 version but who cares.
