220€ for a mainboard??? Waste of money.

You don't need DDR3-1866 memory, the cpu's memory controller defaults to DDR3-1066.

ATI 5850 (same price) is faster, cooler, quieter and consumes less power than the gtx 275

Green harddisks are dead slow.

The PSU is overpowered and a bit inefficient.

You forgot a decent cpu cooler.

I wouldn't aim at a multi-gpu setup, a single card is enough for common display resolutions. Better upgrade your gfx card more often.

Due to what I said, the performance/EUR ratio is rather bad.

biggest boost i could give my system las times was SSD hard-drive..
if u are willed to give some money for a nice perfomanced computer.. take SSD in such a system

you are planning to compile fotos, videos, rendering, working with photoshop, etc etc, that you need 6(12)core cpu?
i5-750 is the best choice for gaming and muuuuch cheaper.

2 vid crapy cards are stupid, one good is much better solution.

and as Seb said ... biggest boost which i gave to my pc was 80gb Intel SSD drive, that changed everything :P

True, it's also socket 1156 based. Both socket 1156 and 1366 will die soon, those expensive mainboards become unupgradeable.

I don't think it'll be faster, but quite equal.

110 ASRock P55 Deluxe http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a457435.html
186 Core i5-750 http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a445050.html
32 Scythe Mugen 2 B http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a486335.html
81 2*2GB RAM http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a449896.html
48 2*1GB RAM http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a291942.html
102 WD20EARS http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a486924.html
141 SSD C300 64GB http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a541509.html
155 Enermax 700W http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a497626.html
---
855 eur

+case, optical drive

options:
+145 eur = 128GB C300 SSD instead, faster write speed
+50 eur = hyperthreading cpu (not that useful imo)
+230 eur = 2nd 275 gtx
-50 eur = cheap 700W power supply
-48 eur = upgrade to 6GB or 8GB later, go with 4GB first
