Shorten warmup.

Is it possible to shorten warmup here, on ps1? Look, there are 60s of warmup and usually most people are connected after 20-40s, so why should we waste time on stupid shooting instead of starting normal game?

Well, i think the time is right. Sometimes I face problem, and my connect to the next map is so slow and i can barely have the time to type !shuffle.
The current warmup time is good, at least for me it is

30s should be enough for everyone to connect, if it aint, you need to delete them pornviruses from your pc

Keep this, its 1 minute its not like you actually have to wait for a long time...
if you dont wanna play warmup get yourself a beer and have fun.

(always thought it was like 50 sec or so or 45)

Not easy with my connection and i don't have any pornviruses in my pc. It is just a slow connection (2 Mb) and the distance from the server.
And in 60 secs you can go to toilet also and come back for the start

And since we all are uber-addicted we don't want to miss any second off the map itself!

At the moment is don't see any problem, people have time to download maps, and the rest can enjoy themselves with killing their teammates, what is highly enjoyable :coffee:

if it is, move to belgium, 45â‚¬/month for a 30mpbs connection

I'm pretty sure Belgium has awesome internet if you live in a village that isn't properly connected with the rest. Yes, upgrading your personal internet connection is that expensive when you need to improve the general infrastructure. Also I can get cheaper and faster internet if I move to a city, which I will do pretty soon.

As far as i know i am in Server when the warmup time is about 40-45 seconds. 16.000kbits net, German T-Com.

So what do i do in these 40-45 secs? Yes i wait.. and do a hell of a mess with that friendlyfire on.

So i don't see a problem to wait 10-15 (more).
Atleast the other 10 players which don't have a good pc / net connection can connect when the map starts.
And Admins don't have to to !spec999 that much aswell.

Also shorter warmup time would make it worser than better if you won't count only the egos who want to shorten it, but everyone who connects into the Server.
In addition there weren't any big problems with that..
so just wait and have fun with friendlyfire in warmup..

Time is fine enough, peoples without smooth hardware or/and internet connection arrives to the game after it begins.
