Well if im not wrong: You need to have your own server to upload the mini mod to in order to play with the mini mod.

Minimods can only be setted up server side. (most of them though)

It means the server owner has to add it into the server config.

you can use your mod package by putting it in your mod folder (etpub, noquarter or etpro - depends on which server you connect) IF the server has sv_pure 0

if the server is setted sv_pure 1 (like its needed at noquarter) than only the modpackages which are on the server will be active.

almost.

the serverowner has just to add the pk3 file to the mod folder (like: .../enemy-territory/noquarter/yourMODfile.pk3) without adding anything to any cfg - besides its a map.pk3 and you want a rotation of maps without running the maps manually by /rcon map xy ...

Yes.

You could ask Bow if he's willing to upload it to the /etmain folder as an optional package. That way, only players who have the same package in their /etmain folder will be able to see/use those skins.

Not sure how it performs on 1.2.3, would have to be tested.

wouldnt the adding of this file to the /etmain or /noquarter folder make it nesacary to download it and this way the skins would be dispayed to all users?

i get your question rightn i guess that is a yes, all players will be able to download the skins, but i was looking to install better quality textures (same size as original) and landscape fitted uniforms (brown for desert, white for snow, ...)

just those 2, but only if bowy is okay with it ;)

Adding another Headshot sound package into ETMain maybe could satisfy the people who were begging for it.
