hi dicks,

as u may noticed, PS 2 is mostly kinda empty nowadays. some days ago there was just some gamys going on cause i and a few others was present and others joined cause of that.

we also discussed this allready in the AF, main problem is obviously the lack of regulars and maybe also serverowners or members at all.

anyways, we got to make now a really important decision by now and i would like to hear your opinions about it and also would like if u vote and explain ur vote, so we can see what's your opinion about it at all.

of course there are many other points as the mod, but mainly its about discussing the mod of PS 2 right now.

all other details will be discussed in AF again, but just would like to see your opinions about this right now.

i also only give u 2 possibilitys, so pls don't ask for any other mods. it's free to discuss it of c, but there will only be the following 2 options.

1. keep it as it is
2. make it etpro

I'd like it to be etpro. Just want to play some etpro. It would be best without xp save imo. Some ppl gonna lose lot of xp but they can take it.

lazy mood:

ETpro

positive points about it:
- A server that strongly has a 'special thing', not 4 off the same kind servers. More diversity for our community.
- Fits in to the culture off ps2 (Objective play and suitable maps for this, no adrenaline, no 'unrealistic' nq futures like goomba, insta-kick kills and double jumps)
- Compared to other ps servers, more actual regulars who will like this change (deep and romek for example)

Just the first things that pop into my mind, summarized: Great idea.

ETPro because there was no 1.2.9 NQ to choose. And also I see that ETPro fits much better to PS2 because there are only 'pro' players visiting it and maybe some newcomers trying it out.

i dont think that the reason why there aren't many players is behind the mod, but the mod change could still be done. we might get new regulars from the etpro scene, coz there arent that many etpro pub servers. maybe a new cybergames will be born?

i was born 4 yrs ago in ps2, and it was a server wthout the usual NQ setting, and i fall in love for it <3
the good thing of ps2 is that, a NQ server without nq setting.
the future? Evolving to Pro.

The other regular like me know that is the way.

Well, I see most of the folks have choosen et pro..
For me it's honestly useless to upbring an et pro server.
There were pretty much more et pro server some time before in comparison with nowadays.. The reason was simply the fact that there wasn't anybody who played there anylonger..

Maybe another possibility would be a NQ-pro mod server. you know?
You let nq 1.2.5 running and put on et pro related settings.
Just as higher weapon damage, no doublejump, limited teams ( 10 pro ? ), slower hp,
smaler maps.. and so on.
It's only an idea.. Perhaps it is worth to allude to (: and firstly noticable !

BUT IT REALLY NEEDS A GREAT CONFIG THEN.

I wonder if there is a way for example to copy paste the crossfire publics config, because a crappy config could ruin the game.
