Sure it shouldn't be so permanently. Just for some short periods.
Yes, on such game u waste your ammo really quick, so maybe in such game it would be reasonable to have infinite ammo.

it already exists in ps7 :)

What about making (short) campaigns, with during campaign xpsave? Would attract some non-etpro players who would like to play from time to time.

hm nah rather not, most pro players are against the idea of xpsave. tryed before with the NQ version to attract the non-etpro players for some more serious game, but that failed hard mostly so rather won't touch that :P

When i was playing public etpro we had a server where xp saved for the campain(10 maps for example)
and when campain was reset/over xp reseted also it worked fine server was pretty populated :)

Seems that the map school doesn't have the script for bots, they just stand still in spawn :wink:

I suggest to add one command on server.


Now when slac has runned here for some time I guess people have their slac accounts and it would be normal to block new users connecting there becuase of cheaters creat new accounts every day.

sl_sv_minage (number in days) it means how old must be your slac account to join in server, I would suggest 7 days atm and later for longer periode.

But, this can also be done in future.

I think we should still wait for that command ajit, I bet that still not so many people here have a slac account, and since lukily there aren't many cheaters at all on slac servers, the risk is loosing more that we can gain.

Well last few days i've been online a couple of times (AFK for long times)
But just to get players.
The more players on server, the more players connect.

Dno if it's possible but auto-kick specs if server is full? (dont think so xD)

About the SLAC part, i think that atm we need all the players we can get though the idea is good for preventing cheaters i agree with oxy here.

ye, but the age of your slac account is so small (7 days) usually public servers use 20 days or so. But at least 3 days would be cool for start.
I guess everyone got their slac accounts here older then 2 weeks already. Because when they pracced for FW then they seeked some wars from irc and they had to have slac account to play it, otherwise they wouldn't get war. :P

I'm not sure if auto-spec kick is possible in etpro.

Yeah i was thinking the same, setting it to about 2/3 days.
It's just only now starting to become busier from day to day so i was hoping to wait untill it really would be full every day. (or most days)
But i guess that 3 days would be ok.

Very nice opportunity to add SLAC, should bring new players to the community.

In my opinion class skills should be disabled. It doesn't really show how the game is played in competion and the "newbies" would start ETPro with bad habits.

ye, can disable the class skills, if necessary, but at all after 2 rounds of s/w it will start from new anyway. maybe more suggestions in this case, and i'll think about chaning that as well.

etadmin mod is running now on PS 2, means that levels are again available and its again possible to gain levels here too :)

via !listcmds u can check ur available commands at ur current level. anyway, other things im thinking about is setting class limits, as suggested by a few ppl allready, if the amount of players is low (f.e. 3on3, no rifle/panzer/flamer), will maybe be the next change in some weeks.

else i just wait for more suggestions, gogogo :wink:

In my oppinion class skills should be enabled, it's a PUB server but making class limits is good idea.

Maybe it's an idea to add !hs, that's on ps#7 atm. It allowes only headshots to give dmg, good way to train hs. And with a cmd u can enable/disable at any time.

My opinion is same like icy's. Every map xp/skills are reseted so it doesn't really matter if you upgrade one or two skills at the end of the map

Since the ETAdmin is working now, there should be no problem I think.
