I am afraid nothing will ever be like ET, first because it is a freeware, secondly an abstract realm like the one of this brink will imho bore the players after a bit of playing; Third we all grown up with ET and no matter which game will be released, we will find it worse than our lovely Wolfenstein :wink:

Hehe, of course that ET is one and only. But younger players, for whom ET is too old and may not fulfill technological standards (graphics and so on), will be rather interested in Brink, which still carries some of ET's spirit.

People leaving etpro atm becuase clanbase admins (lets say it in better words) made uber wrong decision what makes people leave etpro at the moment and also brink, new shooting game, makes people leave now etpro.

Brink new game - people want to try it out and etpro players are very pissed on CB admins which makes them quit etpro at the moment.
So, in my oppinion, brink will be as same popular as cod4

But are they quiting at the moment because at the moment brink is a new game and CB pissed players or is it because new game - brink is making players quit?

CB admins fcked up and people don't want to play etpro under CB. And they are going to play brink because brink is a new game. It was really wrong decision by CB admins, they are killing etpro now.

big story short: it took 4 weeks them to make playoff tree + they changed rules during the cup. Before: 2 first team from each group are in playoffs. After announcing playoffs: Only 1st team from each group is in playoffs.
F.e. Us, we played our last game with 2 backups because we knew we are in playoffs if we loose or win, and we lost it very closely and we became 2nd. And now we are not in playoffs.
They left out 36 teams from playoffs and everyone are just pissed off, even those who were 1st in their group.
