PS1 will be upgraded to NQ 1.2.9

Hi guys

The title is clear, our server will be upgraded to 1.2.9 . I know that this news wont realy be appreciated by those who still love playing on 1.2.3 but upon concideraion i had to face that the upgrade was a necessity. ET is dying, the game loose players years after years and we are many communities to fight for those who still play this old FPS, and we have to do all our possible to attract new players and keep our regulars. PS1 as the PS flagship and its main gate for new players have to be up to date and the upgrade for the newest NQ version is then clearly obvious.

So, the PS1 will be upgraded to 1.2.9 but you don't have to be worry about your XP and levels, they will be saved and it will be no loss. It wont be no major changes on server setting and the gameplay will globaly stay same. If there is a need for real and major modifications, your opinion can be requested via a poll on forum.

I m not realy able at the moment to give you a sure date, but i hope that the upgrade would be done in next 2 weeks.

on ps3 it dont work good so maybe map rotation will be better

Nope, as i told it above, it wont be any notable changes except the mod.

It took some time, and I wasn't really ok with the idea of changing some time ago.
I changed my mind something like 15 or 20 times but now i'm sure that upgrading it's the best solution; by the way, 1.2.3 or 1.2.9, it's still the same and lovely game right? :wink:

It's not that i really don't like 1.2.9

I mean, the only big difference will be the hitboxes so there isn't much of a problem.

However the real reason behind all this is too big to write and wouldn't fit in this topic anyway

But as to everything must come an end, so too must PS1 abandon nq 1.2.3
As sad as it makes me, there is a new chapter starting. Hopefully this chapter will be even better as the last.
