solution prob

ive a new monitor widescreen my solution is atm setted to 1920+1080 or so

ingame now i mention some graphic probs... hitboxes are elsewhere ...

so my question is :

does et even support this kind of new stuff ?
or what ive to set solution ?

Hitboxes are elsewhere ? Well... mmm... I guess you have done \r_mode -1, r_customheight 1080 and r_customwidth 1920. So the problem cannot be that. Well I never had any problems with hitboxes. They should be there where they are. Also set r_displayrefresh to the value which your screen supports.

Hitboxes are not related to hardware stuff, at last they should not be affected anycase by your own resolution, if they are not where they really supposed to be then i bet it's et'fault, I experience that from time to time but I guess our lovely game is to blame in that cases :wink:

maybe it's a hiding lagg i had the same filling i aim on head or body and i don't hear hitsounds:> maybe sebbel got right:>our aim is sucks:D

ye and sometimes walls dissapear so its my wallhack ...

so ill try change my refresh rate well see

but i guess its not the whole prob

only feelings it is something wrong not problem because i have sucks aim:D

but i have problem with resolution when in game now i playing on 800x600 85Hz but when i change it to 1024 my screen is shifted to right side but when i set 1152 my monitor or TV (samsung 40inch don't remember model byt its HDready so max resolution is 13something:>)say this resolution cannot be show:> but when i set on windows refresh rate to 60Hz i can set all resolutions and i don't get any problems with bad screen displaing.
So @RedOx try set lower resolution maybe your problem gone or try se other refresh rate:>:P

hm dont like black bars so i choosed 1920*1080

or im wrong and just missed to set other solution to fullscreen ? o0

ye sure

havent tried all possible resolutions

maybe some didnt work .. 16.. * 10.. for example

but always tried it with r mode and fullscreen

ill try it again later with 1280*720

it's a new monitor ? what version of OS U have? and maybe try to find some drivers to your monitor could help or what cable connection U use ? standart D-Sub or DVI-I or maybe HDMI some years ago i had problem with it so can U check it it's only my suggestion:d
but but your problem is only when U playing ET or in other games too?

so now ive tested all possible resolutions

lowest for me seems to be 1280*720

in most others like 800*600 ive the screen cutted with black bars at side

if theres another solution for wide screen ....
