This tells it all. ET might die because of this if nobody comes up and would start to do something.

All I have heard that if you won't save your etkey, you WON'T be able to play this game. So I beg you all and tell you to save your etkeys. If you lose it, then nobody can help you.

I don't think it will be that easy since, it would be in this case a massive player loss.
But if they would make a similiar to PB that you wouldn't need to register anywhere it would ease things a lot.

@Dre Not anymore. PB stopped supporting ET and also some other Quake games like Doom 3 and Quake Arena.

Lol no, calm down folks. Just , without guid, you cant apply pbban to a person. And you cant identify him by the guid ( fe, if there are 2 guys with same name, flag and xp, you cant make a difference).
But dunt worrie, tzac has working versions for NQ already, it can easily become alternative. Negative aspect is that all the ppl who have been banned so far by PB, can play again.

It will still hurt the community, alot of people don't know about TZAC and new players aren't going to bother with it (probably). If there is no automated solution, ET will slowly die.

do you really think these guys have been waiting for this news to play again ?

anyway, ET still have an active community (TZAC is pretty recent for a dying game f.e.), don't sell the carebear's skin before he's really down ^^

Atm the ETproscene seems to being revived with new tournaments, lineups and prizemoneys.
