Lags

Hi guys, I just reinstalled ET, but I have a big problem.
Whenever entering in any server, my et starts to lag, that's nothing due to the connection wich is running fine.
The lag comes every 2 seconds, freezes for a frame of a second and goes away.
The only thing I changed were the graphic drivers, but the lag still continues even switching back to the old ones.
I also tried to close every 3rd part program running on the pc without results, any idea on what can it be?

are the drivers up to date ?
or have you just switched them ?
bc this freezing sounds like a hardware issue

Did you only reinstall ET? Or have you made some hardware/software changes aswell?

I only reinstalled et, and yes, the drivers are up to date

Well I have some background programs running as default for updates for design software. If I don't switch those programs off, I get the same lags as your description.

Maybe it is something similar?

Yesterday I uninstalled the graphic drivers and tried the basical ones, the game runned just fine, then i tried to put on not the lastest but the ones i had before this problem, and the lag apeeared again. Pretty strange
