Spain had a hard way with Croatians and Portugals. Really hard way. But in the final they in the end played like... Spain! Great game by La Furia Roja. Though Italians haven't do their best in defence. 1st goal was brilliant. 2nd - well, Alba's sprint was incredible, though Italians had plenty of time to 'read' it, but they still didn't stop this wonderful pass. After Motta had to leave the field leaving Prandelli with no possibility of substitution it was fairly clear thet Spain got it. Even Mata, in his only 5 minutes in whole tournament, scored. Big game by Spain, and all in all, deserved championschip!

First goal was indeed just a very good goal. Second goal Italy wanted to catch Alba on offside but because of Xavi's brilliant through ball (perfect time, perfect speed, perfect direction) he manage to get away from the defence and slotted it home. After Thiago Motta's injury there was just no chance for Italy anymore.

Torres ending as topscorer with 2 goals again Republic of Ireland and 1 goal against a 10-man side Italy is actually a complete joke
