Event: No Goldrush Night

Hello dear players!
We are organizing some very uncommon event: No Goldrush Night!

When? Monday, 24th of March, starting at 19:00 GMT+1
Where? PS1 - 178.63.72.111:27960





Whaaaat??

We want to break the daily routine, where we play always the same famous maps, like Goldrush, Marrakech, Supply and so on. We are willing to have a different day, and try some fresh new maps or some very old but forgotten maps, that can still provide fun and competition on the server.
This kind event will take place on: Monday, 24th of March, starting at 19:00 GMT+1

With this topic we want to invite you not only to partecipate at the event, but also help us to choose maps for it. Everyone can post its own suggestion here, and some days before the event we will choose the maps among all ideas.


Every player can propose only 1 map for the event

Giving the exact name of the map (for example: King of the Hill 2 v2), and possibly providing the link where the map can be found.
To help everyone, here is the link to the Wolffiles Maps database, where you can find every possible map, and if you have time you can look up for unknown maps and test them in their test server.

Few days before the event, we will choose the maps and publish the complete map rotation here.

Maccupiccu is cool too, but Necrology should defnitly be there as well.

Hello chaps!

Here are the maps. I have loaded them on the server so you are able to pre-download them. Since almost all of them are pretty new for most people I bundled them so you have all maps at once. This is advisable for people with a slow connection because some maps are quite large.

Instructions for pre-downloading
Move the maps/extract to: ~/.etwolf/etmain/ (linux) or C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/Etmain/ (windows) or whereever you installed it .

This not the order in which maps will be played! And also the !maps command can be used to see the maps when the event is on.
