Playing map release "Prime Squadron" at PS1 - June 15th
When: Sunday, June 15th - 20:00 CEST
Where: PS#1 - 178.63.72.111:27960
What can you expect?
We are preparing some special mods for you, probably Hide & Seek and SW (With no XP loss this time ) and maybe we will do a PS vs. the rest match.
Our thanks goes out to Kuna, who spend his time and effort into creating this map as a tribute to our community. We hope to see many people online for the map show off

If someone has a few sites for me from which I can get live scores, then I may be able to make something .

And VI.nl and NOS.nl have scoreboards.

I think that I will succeed, although a very rubbish bug is that all scores will be displayed in orange .

I can't be there myself, I have to drink a lot of beer and sport, unfortunately.
I will do the following:
2x SW, to be started around 20:00 CEST and I will add a command to load kuna's map at all times available for admins, any HA can initiate a PS vs Rest if enough members avi (see !psvsrest in eggtools).
How does it sound?

Okay i agree. Hope more ppl will join, not only the "always-available" cow

Went great IMO, although the SW/PS thing didn't really function
and some people were being very rude and negative regarding the whole event.
But other than that, very fun and awesome map.
There were A LOT of people present as well.

Ye i heared few ppl got problems with fps...I want to know when u get that fps problems, is that all the time or just in some parts of map?
Anyway ppl with better pc's (as me) didnt noticed any lags, so that means its probably compilation problem, i should have look on it.
Hope beta will be in rotation !

That is both disappointing. What didn't function on the SW?

SW at all. !startevent and !kunasmap cmds did the same thing. Just loading kuna's map. We had to swap teams manually and restart map.
Anyway @Kuna: I had FPS drop at last axis spawn always, than while running the 2nd way to obj, and other random spots that I don't remember. Another thing is allies flag spwn, where they all spawn with the face to the wall (LOL)

Kuna's map was very nice! I expected it a little smaller, but it is a nice and big map! Maybe some truck to move would be nice, and fix the lags (fps drops).

im sure that my pc specs are nearly one of the top three pcs specification (when not the best ) who played this game, coz im a nerd
i had fps drops not in all areas but in nearly 60%-70% of the map, could be possible its a disfunction of my ati driver, the opengl system or my crossfire setup... But im very sure that the problem has something to do with texture or compilation error. I have in most maps, even if its big or small maps fps around 300-800-<
I also know that et needs a better cpu power than gpu power for a good performance, but im sure a 4 Ghz i7 quad core system with 12 GB RAM should handle every et map without fps lags. So go ahead and hopefully next versions will be with less problems!!!
For the story or map gameplay... I personally like the idea of adding a drivable truck in the end and i would be either happy to see some areas with sand or grass around the gate and parts near the objective entrys, where some engys could plants some mines to make it a bit harder to defend.
2nd thing for me is at the moment the map is a bit too big from second Attackers spawn towards obj, this means that the rambo people on big amount of players just camp and spam around the blowable gate and only a few people really try to defend near the nice designed obj area. I think this part is missing attention and maybe a third way left to the blowable gate from attackers view could do this job. I saw theres a door in this part which maybe could do it easily to avoid the camp. If this door would be automatically open, when the gate is blown up, it would also open the way to the long run towards obj at ramp side
i hope you know what parts i mean, otherwise i can paint it in an map overview from birds perspective, if you have the possibility to offer me such jpg file
