Hi

knows PS CSGO server is new , but i propose change or add some cfg for more funny games like :

- gamemode_casual.cfg
- gamemode_competitive.cfg
- gamemode_armsrace.cfg
- gamemode_demolition.cfg
- gamemode_deathmatch.cfg

or smth else .... for me good to add some tournament cfg :)

hmmmmm few things after open match :)

NEGATIVE :
- can't kick bots ( used cmd console bots_kick) or smth like that
- used admin cmd - manualy works but after round back again :S
- used cmd mp_autoteambalance 0 nothing hapend ..bots still play (nvm how much kick)
- manulay voted for map with BOMB ( personaly this map good for tournament)

POSITIVE :

- server works :)
- admin cmd works
- like always fun
- Icy easy target :lol:

so propose to add some cfg for tournament :

- automatic change teams after half-time ( if no works meybe smth like switch team with cmd )
- add maps with only plant bomb ( ofc can discuss the subject, depending on the individual needs of players )
- easy start cfg ( how we have in ET servers )

im noob & probably not much helped :( , but know we have smart ppl whos can solved this problem :)

Also gotta change the following things:
- voice chat should be only available for the own team, atm u can hear everyone who is talking form the enemy team as well
- should be 30 rounds, 15 as Terror and 15 as Counter-Terrorist
- maps only with bombsides (dust 2, inferno, nuke, overpass, cache, mirage, etc.)
- should be able to kick all bots if necessary
- currently u can only buy 1 flashbang (usually u can buy 2)
- u got kevlar and helmet from beginning, should change that so u got to buy it
- should change the buying options (atm u get too much money, should find a competition cfg here)

can give me actualy PS GO server cfg ( wothout important data) ? ... meybe prepare own server and try create cfg for 5v5 tournament .

sry for not replying earlier.

did some digging and i think, i know now how to set the gamemodes on the server:


there are gamemodes, which can be set by different values for the game_type and game_mode cvar:

our server is running atm "Classic Casual" since we got this startupline:

./srcds_run -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 0 +mapgroup mg_active +map de_dust2 +ip 178.63.72.111 +port 27015


"Classic Casual" got these settings: csgo/gamemode_casual.cfg

so we can now choose between 5 gamemodes (csgo) and further change the cvars in these gamemodes.

so: which gamemode should we run on the server? and then: which cvars should be changed there?

....nah ... forgot tell i try server in Windows 8.1 ....not linux ...hihi


anyway : VOTE GAMEMODE COMPETITIVE 99% play this mode , or we meybe add not one cfg ( chosse if can)

maps :

- Dust2
- Nuke
- Mirage
- Aztec ( optional )

( http://danielgibbs.co.uk/lgsm/csgoserver/csgoserver ) meybe helped , abouth cvars ..... here i propose ( but no know what cmd used )

- add/kick bots ( probably cfg have max 10 players but not all time we play 5v5 )
- start money 800
- can vote maps

ok, changed the gamemode to competitive ...

the startmoney is auto on 800 there and voting is also auto enabled in this gamemode.


not sure if the new map cycle worked, seems like there is a different map system than in css ... gonna try to change it, if the 4 maps wont work.
