Just to make sure I presume/require that all players will check the game on the forums daily to keep up with the game. A bare minimum is one post per day. So don't join in just because cow asked you, but you are also willing and able to spend roughly 2 weeks checking the forums regularily.

After discussing with cow now that we have more than enough players, why not push the subscription deadline a little. The game will begin tomorrow with the Mayor vote.
