Server is running fine, saw you connecting and pretty soon disconnecting again. Might it be your firewall is blocking the game?

well cant find any firewall in windows 10 xD windows defender is off... but i think spybot search and destroy replaced it or something idk xD but that never blocked anyhting before..

PB is no longer supporting ET, so that error is normal

also in the quickconnector it shows all servers connecting so it wont show the servers :s
and its not blocked at windows firewall

Just few thing came into my mind:

Oldest cliche of them all: have you tried to turn your computer off and on again?
Probably reseted router?
The only error you see on console while connecting is the one about PB, or is there probably something else?
Does the server list work? How about any other server?

i can connect to other servers :s just not ps :s

but i cant see ps in the server list of ET

and havent done a pc restart or router restart yet

Maybe your firewall is blocking ET? Have you tried to turn Windows Firewall off?

You triggered the server's flood protection and were auto-banned at around 16:12. You're now auto-unbanned again

Usually we get around 10-20 of these bans a day, mostly hacked gameservers, our Chinese friends etc, so you triggering it is a bit strange.. This could mean;

- you have a over aggressive firewall or anti-virus/malware protection. You mentioned Spybot, see if you can whitelist ET.
- you have some crap on your pc abusing your connection. Do a full scan with Malwarebytes (free) just to be sure (run Spybot and your anti-virus as well).
- you are deliberately doing it, but if that was the case you probably wouldn't have mentioned it here

Hey guys,

One thing that directly comes to my mind is to change the voting system to give low level players more power, if bots block a certain team there is no way for you to change that if you do not have the required level, or you have no chance to skip a map you do not like. Furthermore I would like to ask all regulars and members to connect even if there are not many peeps around, if you don't connect, others won't either. Or maybe change some rules?

So what do you think?

I think it is a great idea to give lower level players more power. But only temporarily, until a higher level admin is online. Not sure if that is possible technically. But that would be great. I often find myself at strange hours where only me or 1-2 other humans are online... and none is high enough admin to do landwarx for instance. So people drop off... including myself. Just playing 1-1 human is not that very challanging. =)

For the same reason, Im not as fond of the idea of people just logging in to be spec. It's a bit dissapointing to see the users online when using xfire, only to find out that they are speccing and not responding to requests or votes.

I get you with this1 Dr. I totally agree. But from time to time admins have to spec and check if someone is breaking the rules etc. Also people have private life and other things to take care of. So better to come on server and stay as spectator while doin some private stuff than not to come at all. And also those few players who are playing wont make problems if they see admin is on server.
