hello guys, i'm an 'old' timer ET (AXIS ) player. i'm 28,i'm from italy and i do love cows (my weakness.. ).
long time ago i used to play ET very often, specially the classic maps (nickname: carne.morta / reinhard ). i'm pretty good with medic and sniper, not bad with soldier and field ops. a complete noob with eng :V

i miss those days and would like to play again some matches ...
to re start my addiction can you link me a zip package containing all the necessary softwares plss? or i shall i get them one by one?
i almost forgot everything about setting a profile ecc so any suggestion is welcome

Assuming you are running PC with some version of Windows you need following:

• Original game:
  WolfET.exe
• 2.60 Update:
  ET_Patch_2_60.exe
• 2.60b Update
  ET-2.60b.zip

In case you don't have copy of your old ETKey you need to visit ETKey.org and probably update PunkBuster files. There should be some tutorials about this in same addres.

If you wan't to try to make it as simply as possible the ETKey.org is recommending this tool which should make everything said above automatically:
Harlekins ET 2.60B Installer

NOTE: The tool is done by a person unknown to us, we can not quarantee its behavior even though ETKey.org should be legit site.


For reminding yourself about some .cfg and settings stuff take a look at our FAQ and the links at the bottom of the page.

Currently we are running 3 and half (Oasis, Battery, Railgun and Goldrush GA) original maps on our server, if you wish to see more you can always post into [PS1] Map Suggestions. Thought the ones left out (Radar and Fueldump) are known to have few lag problems for some players.

I think some people have been having trouble with every new windows version since Vista. Personally I've never had any compatibility problems, but I'm still running 7. If you encounter something strange just ask here (or open new topic on ET Help Desk, after using search function), there might be others who have solved similiar things either with W10 or some previous OS.

what about game spy? should i download it as well?

If you feel like downloading it. Personally I don't use it or even know what it good is for so I have no opinion.

No problems with ET on Win7 64-bit, so Win10 64-bit shouldn't be a problem.
I don't think gamespy is anyhow needed to play ET.
