I have never played mafia so i don't really understand the game yet, if you could give some short explaining, or point me to the guidebook, Ill learn it before the start!

Spycow linked to the Mafia forums version of the rules, which is unaccessible until you are given the access to the subsection.

There have been some changes though, but you'll get the rough idea of the game. However here are some things I'd like to point out:

- Played here on the forums, taking 2-4 weeks depending on the amount of players and activity. Last game started on 22nd of May and ended 6th of June. This might sound like a long time, but the game is pretty passive and won't take that much time in the end. Those 3 weeks were over in a heartbeat.
- Checking (and posting on) the topic daily is recommended for the best experience (for all), with the bare minimum of one decent post/vote in a Day-phase. Failing that will result you getting eliminated from the game.
- Don't flood the shoutbox and a certain dead-people topic with spam when the main topic is locked. There is no penalty for it, but I just make such a thing.
- You might not learn everything on your first go and that's completely fine. We're all learning and making mistakes and no one should be crucified for it.
