Retro music & events.

Hi guys,

I get real sick of today's music and music-events. I really want to learn more oldschool artists, dancing and retro style.

So I would like to know you guys can give me some old music to listen to. I'm searching in the style of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis,.. But also music like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, etc.. Music from '20s - '60. But even older I'm interested in.
Besides that, I'm interested in Western/Cowboy music.


For my Dutch/ Belgian and even German friends: I'm also looking for some oldschool/retro/western events. Not only music events, but also dance-shows, oldtimer-shows and common retro events in Belgium, Netherlands or Germany !

Hehe I'm very curious who's gonna react on this post and help me out :)

Personally I'm a big Ray Charles fan. Of course you know him. There is also a very cool movie about him, called Ray: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0350258/

A very good more modern artist producing this kind of oldschool stuff is Leonard Cohen.
