Hi ho

yap still alife , try again play ET but .... cant , have win 10 , install how remember but ...don't work , when saw front page with nickname ,connect , etc have a big lags and mouse dont work good , cant change anything .

instal ET normaly , win 10 instal here : C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory , etkey, pb , ect - all ok , when start ( ofc run as administrator + compatibility windows XP servicepack 3 )

and here start problem - beacuse have big-frozen-lag ( cant check mouse anything) , cant create profile , change connect , resolution . Instal without Program Files (x86) - same problem

Ok, i go to the folder and start it there, not in compatibility mode, but just run as administrator. without putting it in XP
Do you have to play in compatibility mode?

i installed win 10 past year and i put etkey etc in ' ETmain",thus,choose to start any et things as "administrator" .
maybe it will help ?

so what does the windows logs say?

it seems to me that the problem probably isnt ET, since it starts. If everything freeze + new computer... my small experience is that it is often drivers that arent set up correctly... like graphics cards, directX, OpenGL whatever. Is everything green in the device manager? Have you updated the graphic cards drivers to the latest versions (dont use the drivers that comes in the CD, look up the latest at the manufacturers website)?

Did you install the latest version of ET?
If you can, type

You might also check the windows Task Manager performance section or Resource Monitor. These might give some indication if it is hardware related (most likely not).

It might be worth a shot trying to lower the resolution to see whether that has an effect to the lag. Either type

0-5 should be under your native resolution in any situation,
0 = 320x240
1 = 400x300
2 = 512x384
3 = 640x480
4 = 800x600
5 = 960x720

in console, or if you can't access the console try making an autoconfig/editing "etconfig.cfg" in etmain

This is mostly gaming related, but if you manage to get in game and it still lags try
