Making forum more attractive.

When I wake up, I always open the same 3 websites: Prime squadron, hattrick and some other website where I have a premium account.

These days, probably due the corona-crisis, our server and community is back in full activity! We need to take advantage of this and take it to the maximum so after the crisis our community keeps booming. One way is to keep our server attractive to players, and we are doing well doing that (thanks to events, activity of members, and of course what I think is the most important: The atmosphere at PS1 is always fun and friendly.)

Now I'm thinking of ways we can make our forum more attractive, more activity. Ofcourse we have some discussions going on, but most of them are in member -or adminforum. The reason I make this post in PS1 discussion topic ofcourse is because of regulars also can discuss about this and and I think this is the most visited forum by regulars.

How can we make forums more attractive for our regulars? We used to have our weekly comics, also 'post your favorite song' is a popular topic. Can we get back a maffiagame started? Also I was thinking about a little quiz, with main theme PS and ET in general. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but 1 question would be: "How many outcomes are possible when you press first 5 than 4 in quickchat, and which our the possible outcomes?" haha

Any ideas for making forum more attractive?

Can we get back a maffiagame started?

I'm not sure if we would have enough people to have a decent game, but even if we did, I'm not feeling it anymore. Someone else can take the torch if they so desire. The theme forum is still there after all.

One additional strategy could be to consider revamping the page layout/forum system and make it more mobile friendly and technically up to date. I know, bigass task

How about a small add to our forum: interactive map.
If some meeting in real life happened, perhaps it could boost people to integrate more when they see someone lives nearby.
there was a gallery once, maybe we could bring it back? Or it was too heavy burden for forum engine?
