ET crashes? Check WinXP updates.

ET crashes and u don't know why? Or your PB didn't install corectly?
Check your WindXP updates.
There are some Windows XP updates, which causes ET.exe crashes.
If you have problems witch ET.exe, check those updates:
KB 917422, KB 920670, KB 929338.
If U have them, uninstall them.
Turn off automatically update (switch to manual update),
and don't let Windows install them again.
All other updates allowed.

I had a other ET crash.

It said this. Could not open Cl_Loadmaps = 0 or 1 dont know exactly.

I've reinstalled my ET, only my ET Key isnt working, for the rest everything works.

hmmm devil..try deleting ur ETkey..then if u start game type in console /pb_cdkeyreg . It should give u new updated ETkey.
