PB problem - Losing key packets*

Since few days I have a problem with PB. I dont know what happend becouse everything was okay. When Im connected to the server I play few minutes and Im kicked by PB. Afte disconnect I se something like that : ".... kicked by PB reason : loosing key packets" so I tryied to update my PB but it didint help. But thats not all. When I try to reconnect Im kicked after few seconds of connecting and all I can see is this :
"Unpure client detected. Invalid .pk3 files refenced ! " - WTF is this

?
Its a dramma for me couse I cant play. I will be happy if somebody could help me. Pliss

Sorry for not replying your PM but im just got home

Well anyways here goes;

'Losing key packets' = an unstable connection, cause of that pb is losing data (packets)

Have you installed any new software or hardware lately?
- new anti-virus software?
- new firewall?
- new modem/router?
- changed the settings in one of those things?

About 'Invalid .pk3 files refenced', what map is running at that moment?
- remove the map from your etmain/ and let it autodownload from the server
- how much maps do you have in your etmain/ ? Try to remove some old maps you never play

And from our FAQ;

All commands starting with the letters /pb must be entered manually every time you startup ET
Â· /pb_lan 1
Â· /pb_sleep 500
Â· /pb_sv_pktsendmode 1
Â· Set the following command (only once) before joining a server: /pb_system 0

See what things you can rule out

And btw at which server does this happen? PS1? PS3? PS4? All pb enabled servers?

BTW
I didint do nothing with my PC. I didint install new programs, etc. so I have the old settings and everything should be ok but it isint :/ . It happens on PS 1 and PS 4 couse I play on those servers.
About the F.A.Q Im not sure about those comends. I should write them on PB or ET console ? And if I understod that good I must write those comends every time I lounch ET ? Im woried that I wont have so much time to write them becouse disconnect is getting faster every connect

Do you run the game under a windows admin account btw?

Have you tried pbsetup already?

No downloads active? P2P software? Torrent Software? Messenger clients?

I have the admin rights on my PC and all download programs were disable. I just update my PB. Whats the most strange thing :!:

I run ET today after 3 days breake and PB didink kick me

All is fine now but for how long it will be. Sometimes I have enought of my PC. Still dont know what was the reason but who cares. Many thanks Warren and sorry for taking youre time. greetz

But perhaps it was an outdated pb version and pb couldnt update or something like that, dunno.
Or did you set /pb_system 0 ?

I really dont know what happend. I just wasnt runnung ET. Mabe it needed some rest

My PC is strange and noone news what will be broke or fixed next :roll:

No I didint wrote any comand becouse I wasnt running ET it just fixed and i hope everything will be ok
