I connected to PS#4 for the first time. What happened, it said:
U are banned from this server
reason: aimbot

how in hell im banned from server where I have never visited? Especially when I have never used aimbot!

I dunno what, but I was playing and suddenly i daw this:

Banned player: -|PS|-GoldenBullet player is trying to connect.

Stupid thing. How -|PS|- member could be banned on -|PS|- server??

Check your Punk Buster. Update & Enable.
Im sure that is the problem for 99per cent :wink:

That 'aimbot' thing is prob the standard drop message, it looks like your pb isnt enabled, you tried /pb_cl_enable ? Or updated with pbsetup.exe instead of pbweb?

at first I tried that pbsetup. It didnt work so I quess I try the pbweb now.
I tell if it worked

yes i heard this before !! and i had it myself too

i want to connect to server and then its says that i am banned.. for no reason and it was the first time ever i connected to that server.. still cant connect tough

.. well doesnt matter anymore now cause i found ps ..

My German isnt that good but perhaps one of zee German people here at the forum can translate is

When PunkBuster is unable to verify that a player's gaming environment is
functioning properly and/or has not been alterred, an Integrity violation is raised.
This also involves the detection of modified game or PunkBuster files.

These violation numbers are between:
#10000 & #29999.

Have you tried remvoing the .wolf (or was it .wolfet) directory in your home directory? you will need Nautilus (assuming GNOME) to show hidden files (ctrl+H) or from the command line (rm -rf .wolf*), you may want to make copies or move/change the names so ET will re-create it and see if that helps. It happened to me once with Q3A with a "corrupted" home .quake3 directory.

Â· How to Enable PB?

2 Methods
1. Start ET â€“ choose â€˜Play Onlineâ€™ â€“ at the bottom right it should say â€˜Disable Punkbusterâ€™
2. Start ET â€“ bring down the console â€“ enter /pb_cl_enable

To check if PB is enabled enter /pb_ver , and it should say something like; Punkbuster Client (v.1.274) Enabled

probally you knew this right?
i also getted whole time a message that i was banned
posted here on forum and warren-the-ape helped me with it :lol:

The security 0 worked :O
Now I have to work out how I save it without one annoying thingy.

Just try change name and log-in to the server. It can help. Perhaps some1 had had this nick and had banned.

it was on ps2
first time i played ET ever on own pc
it said i was banned
and that worked
