ban reason: cheating/being banned from ps2 also
ban date: today 7/6/06

Ok, i'm going to be honest with ya'll and I just hope ya'll will hear me out.
I have now been banned from two PS servers both times for suppossevely
"cheatin/wallhacking/kiddiescript" I don't understand how it is that i'm cheating or manipulating my script so that i have an unfair advantage. I'm not running any extra programs besides the Basic ET set up. So if someone could just tell me what is wrong so i can fix the problem i'd much appreciate it. I am sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. I enjoy playing on your servers because they have cool maps and people, so if ya'll could just lend me a hand fixing this problem, i look forward to playing on the servers in the future.
All i ask of this thread, is that I don't get "face it your a cheater, you were banned, tough shit"
i have a demo of myself playing on PS 2 the one time before i got banned... so if you need a demo of proof of my gameplay.... i have one for viewing just pm me and i can get it to you somehow.

delete the full et folder
and resintall
never over config your et.
like that gammla birght 3

i see now! I didn't understand before, ya'll want to run a server where everyone is running the same settings and stuff. Understandable. The reason i changed my /r_gamma to 3 instead of the default is because my computer lags when the screen is dark. as to my knowledge thats the only thing i have thats really changed... i could be wrong. but if i were to set all my settings to default... could i be given another chance on the server?

Thats not exactly true.

Everyone is allowed to tweak his or her config but WITHIN the LEGAL game settings.
So if u want to tweak your brightness u should do that with the brightness slider in your settings.

Overbrighting the game is allowed but whitin the game settings :wink:

and lags cause of standard brightness is a bit questionable to me :roll:

gamma
and brightness

gamma is for seeying more of the map the entire map. (looks like wallhack)
brightness is to adjust from dark to ligt screen. nothing wrong with that

okay. Well you guys are the first server i've ever heard of putting restrictions on gamma. besides the normal 1-3 restriction.

you are talkign about brightness TOTAL DIFFERENT THING..
