I heard that theres a rule in clanmatches that U must lock the fps to max. of 128 or so. Otherwise the legendary sten-bug would show its might xD

Avoid fluctuation in your fps, you should not set it 300 if sometimes u get 40 .
Set it 60 instead.
My beast can reach the 1000 fps barrier, but i have to tweak the gl setting a bit. The 600 frames is no problem for my card(s), they can keep it that high constantly, but of course the connection interuptus flickers all the time.

Usually i have it 126, cause my beast is too noisy.
The fact is that lately i get an extraordinary 45 ms ping to PS servers(generally i had 80-100 since i first connected).
I used to play at 200 ms or sometimes 170 ms over at the USA servers, and i think that made me a better player, cause now its so damn easy for me to shoot em down. All the time i was aiming ahead of people, something like predicting what they will do.

Oh and my beast is AMD 64 bit 4800+ dual core overclocked to around 5300. With 6 raptors sata disks(raid), and 4 gigs of GEIL memory. The graphic card is a geforce 7950 sli (2 cards in 1 sandwich) wiht 2 gigs of memory. Motherboard is a M2n32 SLI Asus. Case is a chieftec monster with 12 bays and 12 fans.
I use this PC for 3d design, and 3d game development. Thats my job. But of course i also enjoy it playing ET...
