Head Sounds
Oh heres a good one for y'all
I play PS2 mostly, and PS1 sumtimes.
I however prefer the classic "ping" headshot sound like on PS1, to the "HEADSHOT!" sound on PS2.
Can i change the PS2 one to one like PS1???
Is it a case of swapping sum pk3's around? or is it easier than that??
Cheers

ps1 & 2 are noquarter, noquarter mod requieres pure servers, so you can't swap sounds
the only thing you can change with your client about hitsounds is that :

Its a server setting. Ask neme to remove the headshot sound and replace it with something else, like "ping"

Its not a setting its a little .pk3 file
And like Memnoch says NoQuarter servers need to be pure (/sv_pure 1) in order to work correctly. This means that all pk3 files on the server will be enabled for the client as well, nothing more nothing less.
