foreign language's
i think it would be a good idea to put up a new forums sections about
foreign language's
so that people can get to know each other better and to know who can speak same language as them
i am a mod on a forums in a difrent game and i have seen this happen
it has worked well many people posted in it
and lots of people seemed to be happy
many people got to know other people that can speak the same language as them

i know many people would like to know what other people are talking about
i understand that but it would be nice to know who can speak same
language as you

personaly i would love to meet more people that know same language as me and get to know them better

and in that section under foreign language's
there should be every language that people know all seperated

vote yes for it
and vote no for against it

Interessting. I have to really think about it. But, we have to have firstly mods for that. Trusted guys, who know each foregin lang. For some lang. can be difficult to find it im affraid. But we will never know if we wont try, isnt that?

mhmm Im for ofcourse yep, because so we can make a subforum "Other Languages" to contact other ppls, and we have enought other speaking admins so we have mods for this subforum, Im for Polish, Frensh, German, Nl

yes good idea, it's easier when u got a problem that a players speaking the same language as u explain how to solve it in ur language.......

as torte said theres many other ps admins that know other languages so they can keep it controlled

I also wonder what it is you want to talk about in those subforums?
For example; Im dutch and I have an problem with my ET installation, going to the dutch section and will be helped. Now another guy is French has the same problem, searches for it, finds the dutch topic but damn... its in Dutch and he cant read it, you get my point

Last thing is that it would seem very strange in comparisson to the servers.
A lot of languages allowed at the forum yet only english (and some servers german) at the servers.

Yeps thats a possibility, that way people can at least no longer use the excuse that they didnt understand it cause there english is soo poor :wink:

and then if some one has another language they can post a new topic up
and i know there will be more then 2 or 4 difrent languages

this is a good point but we will try and get every language up
there are many dutch people and if we dont have some one speaking the same language we can try and comunicate with them as best as posible

we can put a rule that only in this subforums your alowed to speak
any other language

in the subforums people could Introduce them selfs in there own language
not having to speak english could be a lot easyer and also
it would be easyer if you didnt know english very well to read it in your own language like F.A.Q and RULES

and if your not so good on english you can go into the forum and ask for what ever problem you have in english

its a nice way to make prime-squadron more welcome and friendlyer

Rules and FAQ on foreign languages, okay, but not the forum itself. We are an international community, and the universal language is english. We should not devide the forum into groups.

But maybe we can allow foreign language on the servers, maybe on FomoksLand french, cause the admins there speak it.

most common language and on ps servers i see the rules are to speak english
so its pretty much easier to just keep it in english

well we can keep it simple just one subforums
with difrent languages
and thats the only place where your alowed to talk difrnet languages like
it wouldnt be all difrent language all over prime-squadron.com

i just tought this would be a nice idea to make the place friendlyer
it would be nice to see your own language spoken

I agree with blazing, this community has so many members from foreign countries it would be almost imposible to translate the site...and if you'll translate the site to let's say 10 languages, some members will be offended if none of those languages is their own and they'll nagg you to death (or until you translate the site to their native language)

And the site will become "messy" and confusing ^^

i think its not a good idea because many ppl will only talk in this subforums with a few ppl and will not talk with the community.

when you are not so good in english use a dictionary or a translater (it works fine you can see it by many ppl here).

see it as a training that you must speak english. your english will get better.
